How to Take a Sustainable Quantum Leap

In physics, a quantum leap refers to a sudden and discontinuous change in the state of a quantum system, such as an atom or a subatomic particle. A quantum leap occurs when a particle transitions from one energy level to another, and the leap is instantaneous. What does that mean to you? According to Price Prichett in his book, You Squared, “If you want to accelerate your rate of achievement rapidly, you must search out and vigorously employ new behaviors.” As Einstein said, “No problem can be solved from the same level of consciousness that created it.” Environmental challenges require a new way of thinking and acting and we are not going to be able to make great strides through incremental steps, trying harder and “more of the same.” Prichett continues, “To make a quantum leap, you’ve got to break out of the rut where you’ve been running…the quantum leap strategy is based upon uncommon sense.”
