Stress Busters for Environmental Leaders

BAM! How to Embrace Transitions

In just a few days, we will be transitioning into Daylight Savings Time and shortly thereafter, Spring will be upon us. Year after year, we can count on the changing of the seasons, as we mark the dates on our calendars while nature transforms its colors and habits. Though we have grown accustomed to these changes, there are many in our personal and work lives that happen without notice.  How can we learn to be resilient in the face of changes? One way to do so is by living in the present moment. The present moment is all we have, and by opening our eyes to truly observe what is around us, we can better adapt to the changes as they come. Rather than anticipating what we expect to see, we should take the time to notice things and events around us, without judgment or giving any meaning to them. As Marianne Williamson , a prolific writer and spiritual leader, said, referencing A Course in Miracles, “Clear your mind of all past associations, to see things exactly as they appear to you nowI”

#When you approach a project, how can you look at it with new eyes? What new information have you discovered?
