Please join me at the North American Lake Management Society's Conference November 14-17 in Minneapolis, MN. I will be presenting at the conference on Thursday. Here's the abstract: Spirit gives us vision and values, while science gives us tools and technology. Many of us have lived our work lives separating the two—and most of us learned to do that at school and then in our jobs. It didn’t seem socially-acceptable to merge the two. Albert Einstein said, “Everyone who is seriously involved in the pursuit of science becomes convinced that a spirit is manifest in the laws of the universe…one in the face of which we, humans, with our modest powers must feel humble.” Rather than separate spirituality and science in our work lives, uniting them will enrich our vital actions through wonder and curiosity, deeper insights, inspiration, and new perspectives. We will explore the energetic relationship between the two and provide insights and techniques we can use to laser-focus our intentions and create results that are better than we could have ever imagined.
